Repairs
A snapped chain, a loose stone, a bangle gone dull.
Bring it in and ask. It is looked at on the counter with you standing there, and you are told what it needs and what it will cost before anything is touched. If it is not worth repairing, you will be told that too.
It does not have to have come from here. Work bought elsewhere, inherited, or carried through three house moves is all the same job.
No turnaround is promised on this page, because it depends entirely on the piece. Ask at the counter and you will be given a day.
Exchange
Bring what you have. It goes on the same scale, in front of you, and it is valued at the counter — then taken off what you are buying, inside the same arithmetic as everything else.
That is the part worth knowing: an exchange here is not a separate deal done after the sale. It is the fourth line of the same bill, and you watch it go on.
